據黎巴嫩衛生部緊急行動中心5日初步統計，當天以色列國防軍空襲黎巴嫩首都貝魯特南郊多地，造成至少4人死亡，39人受傷。其中一處目標是一棟位于貝魯特南部杰納赫地區人口稠密區的建筑，靠近黎巴嫩最大的公立醫院，遇襲地點附近濃煙滾滾，以色列戰機在空中盤旋。
總臺記者獲悉，以軍已進行了11輪空襲。貝魯特市內多處能聽到巨大轟炸聲。（總臺記者 楊淵）
