2005年1月31日，八卦博客Dlisted創刊不久，創始人Michael K收到朋友Lahoma的一條消息：「Make Dorian Lord Hot Slut of the Day; she's the most gorgeous woman in the world!」他照做了。這個決定讓美劇《One Life to Live》里的反派女醫生Dorian Lord，成了該欄目史上第一位"Hot Slut of the Day"。
這部ABC肥皂劇播了40多年，Michael追它純粹是為了跟午休看劇的母親有話題聊。Dorian是女主Victoria Lord的死對頭，換過五任演員，Robin Strasser演了23年，成了標桿。Michael形容她是"能邊做心臟手術邊偷走你男人的致命誘惑"——雖然他坦白根本不知道這角色是哪個科室的。
文章發布后，Michael收到了Robin Strasser的親筆簽名照。他把它放在前門旁邊，說萬一著火能順手帶走。讀者在評論區吐槽：要是火從前面燒起來怎么辦？他回復說現在得在前院挖個洞埋起來才安心。
Dlisted的"Hot Slut of the Day"欄目持續更新至今，Dorian Lord作為開山鼻祖被寫入Hall of Fame。Michael的簽名照還在前門，洞還沒挖。
