2026年4月8日，西安交通大學迎來建校130周年暨西遷70周年紀念日。

《中國日報》特別策劃推出《交大風華》英文八聯版，通過精美的視覺設計和詳實的文字報道，多維度呈現西安交通大學百卅榮光與七秩奮進，彰顯交大“為民族而生，為時代而生”的使命與擔當。

1896

Nanyang Mission College was founded, marking its pursuit of building a stronger nation through education.

Sheng Xuanhuai, a renowned modern industrialist and educator, founded the Nanyang Mission College in Shanghai in 1896, guided by the conviction of "promoting education for talent development to realize the nation's rejuvenation".

1896年，南洋初創，興學強國。

近代著名實業家、教育家盛宣懷秉持“自強首在儲才，儲才必先興學”的信念，于1896年在上海創建南洋公學。

1921

The university was officially named Chiao Tung University, upholding the mission of saving the nation by developing industry.

In 1921, Ye Gongchuo spearheaded the integration of four schools under the Ministry of Transportation into Chiao Tung University, laying the foundation for its modern university system.

1921年，定名交大，實業救國。

1921年，葉恭綽先生提出將交通部所屬四所學校進行合組定名交通大學，初步確立了現代大學制度。

1956

Following the central government's decision, the main body of Chiao Tung University was relocated to Xi'an.

In the 1950s, more than 6,000 teachers and students relocated to Xi'an in batches. On Sept 10, 1956, the first opening ceremony following the relocation was held at Xi'an People's Hotel.

1956年，響應號召，西遷創業。

20世紀50年代，6000多名師生分批遷赴西安。1956年9月10日，內遷后的首次開學典禮在西安人民大廈舉行。

1959

Officially named Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1959, the institution embarked on a new chapter.

The Xi'an division of Chiao Tung University was officially designated as Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1959. It was listed among China's 16 key national universities, securing its position as the only major comprehensive university in Northwest China.

1959年，正式定名，開啟新篇。

交通大學西安部分定名為西安交通大學，同年被列為全國十六所重點大學之一，為西北唯一一所重點大學。

2000

Three universities were integrated as one, striving for excellence with combined strength.

Xi'an Medical University and Shaanxi Finance and Economics College were integrated into XJTU in 2000, positioning the newly enlarged university at the forefront of higher education in Northwest China.

2000年，三校合并，矢志一流。

2000年，西安交通大學、西安醫科大學、陜西財經學院三校合并，組建新的西安交通大學，成為西北高等教育的排頭兵。

2020

With earnest expectations from top Chinese leader, XJTU members keep forging ahead with patriotism and tireless struggle.

In April 2020, the top Chinese leader visited the Jiaotong University Westward Relocation Museum. He emphasized that the core of the Western Relocation Spirit is patriotism, and that its quintessence is following the instructions and guidance of the Party, breathing the same air and sharing a common destiny with the Party, the country and the people. He highlighted its immediate importance and profound historical significance. In September 2021, the Westward Relocation Spirit was included in the long line of inspiring principles for the Chinese Communist Party.

2020年，殷切囑托，愛國奮斗。

2020年4月，國家領導人來到交大西遷博物館考察調研。領導人指出，西遷精神的核心是愛國主義，精髓是聽黨指揮跟黨走，與黨和國家、與民族和人民同呼吸、共命運，具有深刻現實意義和歷史意義。2021年9月，西遷精神納入第一批中國共產黨人精神譜系的偉大精神。

2021

XJTU intensified efforts in industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation.

In 2021, the university launched the "6352" Industry-Education Integration Innovation Project and a new model featuring " one center, one incubator, two chains and one shared platform (1121)" to explore closer collaboration between industries, universities and research institutes. Functioning as the showcase for the development of the QinChuangYuan Platform, iHarbor has made significant progress in building a pilot zone for the integrated reform of education, science and technology, and human resources.

2021年，產教融合，協同育人。

2021年，學校實施“產教融合、協同育人”6352創新工程，推進“1121”企業主導產教深度融合模式。依托“秦創原”總窗口——創新港深入推進教育科技人才一體改革示范區建設。截至目前已與包括59家世界500強企業、78家中國500強企業在內的255家龍頭領軍企業簽署共建聯合研究院協議，建立100個校企深度融合創新聯合體。

The eternal flame of learning has remained alight for 130 years, and XJTU has maintained its vigor across seven decades.

This year marks XJTU's 130th anniversary and the 70th anniversary of its Westward Relocation. XJTU remains committed to its mission of "taking root in China's west, giving service to the country, and striving to be world-class". XJTU members will continue to bear in mind the country's most fundamental interests, carry forward the Westward Relocation Spirit, bravely undertake national missions and jointly strive for new and greater achievements.

今年，西安交通大學迎來建校130周年暨西遷70周年，交大人將堅持“扎根西部、服務國家、世界一流”辦學定位，始終胸懷“國之大者”，弘揚西遷精神，勇擔國家使命，共創交大榮譽。

百卅崢嶸 再鑄華章

八聯版B面以本次西安交通大學校慶標識為視覺核心，數字“130”和“70”通過共構手法實現兩個重要歷史節點的視覺疊合，寓意130年的厚重歷史與70年的西遷年華在同一符號中延續匯聚。

版面上的五篇文章聚焦西安交通大學在人才培養、科學研究、社會服務、文化傳承創新和國際交流合作等領域的非凡成就；左右兩側選取西安交通大學代表性的梧桐葉元素，以“大數字”直觀呈現西安交通大辦學成果。

XJTU now offers 77 undergraduate programs, with 45 first-level disciplines authorized to confer doctoral degrees, and 45 first-level disciplines authorized to confer master's degrees. It also offers 10 professional doctoral programs and 32 professional master’s programs, and has 34 post-doctoral research mobile stations.

目前，西安交通大學開設有77個本科專業，擁有45個博士學位授權一級學科、45個碩士學位授權一級學科，以及10個博士專業學位授權點、32個碩士專業學位授權點和34個博士后科研流動站。

XJTU boasts eight national key first-level disciplines, eight national second-level disciplines, three key disciplines with national support and 166 national first-class undergraduate courses.

學校還擁有8個國家一級重點學科、8個國家二級重點學科、3個國家重點（培育）學科，以及166門國家級一流本科課程。

Over its 130-year history, XJTU has long served as a spiritual beacon illuminating wisdom, nurturing a large number of statesmen, scientists, social activists, educators, entrepreneurs, artists and medical experts.

在130年的辦學歷程中，西安交通大學始終是啟迪智慧的精神燈塔，為國家培養了大批政治家、科學家、社會活動家、教育家、企業家、藝術家和醫學專家等。

Among them are Qian Xuesen (1911-2009), known as the "father of China's aerospace", Zhang Guangdou (1912-2013), a trailblazer for China's hydraulic engineering, mathematician Wu Wenjun (1919-2017) and chemist Xu Guangxian (1920-2015).

其中，既有被譽為“中國航天之父”的錢學森（1911-2009）、中國水利工程先驅張光斗（1912-2013），也有數學家吳文?。?919-2017）、化學家徐光憲（1920-2015）。

Committed to advancing global sci-tech frontiers, addressing major national strategic and economic needs and improving public health, the university has enhanced its capacity for scientific and technological innovation.

西安交通大學堅持面向世界科技前沿、面向經濟主戰場、面向國家重大需求、面向人民生命健康，不斷增強科技創新能力。

Since the relocation from Shanghai to Xi'an in 1956, XJTU has achieved over 100 pioneering deeds in scientific research both nationally and internationally, securing a leading role in scientific advancement.

自1956年西遷以來，學校在科研方面取得了100多項國內外“第一”，在搶占科研制高點方面發揮了引領作用。

Notable accomplishments include establishing China's first institute of engineering thermophysics; China's first large general-purpose electronic computer and China's first digital processing chip with independent intellectual property rights; and the twin-shear unified strength theory, the first of its kind in the world.

主要成就包括創建了我國第一個工程熱物理研究所，研制出我國第一臺大型通用電子計算機、首個自主知識產權的數字處理芯片，在國際上首次提出了雙剪統一強度理論等。

Moreover, XJTU has been approved to develop national industry-education integration innovation platforms for energy storage technology, artificial intelligence and medical research. Its scientific research achievements have been integral to key national projects such as the Chang'e-5 lunar exploration mission, the development of large aircraft, and smart energy initiatives.

此外，學校還獲批儲能技術、人工智能、醫學攻關國家產教融合創新平臺；其科研成果在探月工程嫦娥五號、大飛機、智慧能源等國家重大科技攻關項目示范應用。

XJTU has launched the "6352" Industry-Education Integration Innovation Project. The project is aimed at promoting the integration of six resources-government, industry, university, research, application sectors and finance -at iHarbor.

To date, XJTU has signed agreements with 255 leading enterprises to jointly establish research institutes or research centers and has formed 100 deeply integrated university-enterprise innovation consortia, which has resolved 3,124 key technical challenges for enterprises.

近年來，西安交通大學啟動了“6352”項目，將政府、產業、大學、研究、應用和金融六大元素整合到創新港。目前，學校已與255家龍頭領軍企業簽署共建聯合研究院（中心）協議，建立100個校企深度融合創新聯合體，為企業解決了3124項關鍵技術難題。

In terms of international cooperation, XJTU has established 147 international undergraduate student recruitment bases across 28 countries and regions.

國際合作方面，西安交通大學已在28個國家和地區建立了147個國際學生本科生源基地。

Authorized by the Ministry of Education, XJTU and the University of Liverpool jointly founded Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in 2006 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. In collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, Italy, it also established the XJTU-POLIMI Joint School in 2022.

經教育部批準，西安交通大學與英國利物浦大學于2006年在江蘇蘇州合作創立了西交利物浦大學。2022年，西安交通大學與意大利米蘭理工大學合作建立了西安交大-米蘭理工聯合學院。

In addition, XJTU has demonstrated support for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, contributing to global cooperation and governance in higher education.

此外，學校還積極支持上合組織工作，為全球高等教育合作與治理貢獻力量。

In late March 2025, XJTU took over the responsibilities of the SCO University President's Office (Chinese side) from Dalian University of Foreign Languages. On Sept 2, the China-SCO Higher Education Cooperation Center was launched at XJTU.

2025年3月下旬，學校從大連外國語大學手中接任上海合作組織大學中方校長辦公室職能。2025年9月2日，中國—上海合作組織高等教育合作中心在西安交通大學創新港掛牌成立。

百卅輝光，映照初心不改；

七秩日新，續寫時代華章。
