當地時間8日，阿曼交通、通信和信息技術大臣馬瓦利在協商會議上表示，阿曼已簽署與國際海運相關的協議，根據協議規定，霍爾木茲海峽為天然通道，不能對通行船只征收費用。 他還指出，目前阿曼外交部正就相關問題同各方進行溝通協商。
