Patriots副總裁Eliot Wolf今天被記者堵了個正著。問題還是那個老問題：你們到底要不要交易A.J. Brown？他的回答像產(chǎn)品經(jīng)理回復(fù)用戶反饋——說了，又好像沒說。
Wolf的原話是：「As far as players on other teams, gonna keep the door open to anything that we think may improve our roster, whether that's with the player you mentioned or other players.」翻譯成人話：門開著，但門外排隊的可不止Brown一個。
這樁緋聞傳了快半年。Eagles想甩賣Brown的流言一直沒停，Patriots是緋聞下家之一。紐帶很明顯：Patriots新帥Mike Vrabel在Titan執(zhí)教過Brown三年，師徒關(guān)系是現(xiàn)成的。
但真要有動作，也得等到6月1日之后。那天是NFL的財務(wù)分水嶺，Eagles處理Brown的大合同才不吃力。Wolf還得被問到夏天，這門到底是虛掩著還是徹底敞開，沒人說得準(zhǔn)。
