據央視新聞消息，當地時間3月12日，美國海軍中央司令部表示，當天“福特”號航空母艦主洗衣房發生火災。火災原因與戰斗無關，目前火勢已得到控制。兩名水兵目前正在接受治療，無生命危險。艦艇推進裝置未受損，目前在紅海執行任務的航母仍可正常運作。
