本周我們學(xué)習(xí)和故事相關(guān)的詞匯

1. protagonist /pr?'t?g(?)n?st/

n.（小說、戲劇、電影等的）主人公，主角

e.g. The protagonist faces many challenges throughout the story.

e.g. The protagonist of the movie is a young woman who wants to change the world.

補(bǔ)充: antagonist:反派

e.g. The antagonist tries to stop the protagonist from completing his mission.

e.g. In some stories, society itself can be the antagonist.

2. moral /'m?r(?)l/

adj. 道德上的;道義上的；

補(bǔ)充：moral lessons / values/ standards 道德原則/標(biāo)準(zhǔn)

moral dilemma 道德困境

e.g. The story challenges viewers to rethink their moral standards.

e.g. Children can learn important moral lessons through bedtime stories.

n. 寓意 / 道德教訓(xùn)

e.g. The moral of the story is to be satisfied with what you have.

e.g. There is no clear moral to the story; it simply reflects real life.

3. tale (虛構(gòu)的）故事

搭配：a fairy tale 童話故事

a folk tale 民間故事

a cautionary tale 警示故事

e.g. The children sat around the fire listening to a folk tale.

e.g. It looked like a castle from a fairy tale.

e.g. This cautionary tale shows the dangers of trying to make quick profits.

4. genre /'???r?/

n. （文學(xué)、藝術(shù)的）體裁，類型

搭配：movie / music / literary genre 電影/音樂/文學(xué)題材/類型

e.g. This novel blends several genres, including mystery and romance.

e.g. Horror is a genre that relies heavily on atmosphere.

搭配: genre conventions 某一類型作品的慣例/套路

follow / exploit / break genre conventions 遵循/利用/ 打破傳統(tǒng)慣例

e.g. I enjoy horror movies because they stick to genre conventions like jump scares and creepy atmospheres.

e.g. The director cleverly exploits genre conventions to build suspense and tension.

e.g. Rom-coms usually stick to genre conventions such as a meet-cute and a happy ending.

補(bǔ)充：jump scares突然驚嚇

suspense n. 懸念

meet-cute 男女主角第一次有趣或浪漫的相遇
