不久前,10年級學生的個人項目展在北皋校區舉行,學生們向前來參觀的師生和家長展示并說明了各自項目的學習過程和成果。
學生們的項目圍繞他們各自感興趣的題目進行,他們的興趣之廣泛讓人驚訝:
鯨類生活的現狀和未來、國際貨幣學研究、探究Crossfit健身運動在中國的發展、制作一本音樂影響人類情緒的立體書、二戰時期猶太人在上海的生活歷史……
“今年的個人項目展示,更加專注于可視化展示,讓他們對自己所經歷的學習過程有著更深入的了解,也認識到自己取得了多少進步。”啟明星個人項目協調員、藝術和設計學科負責人、設計課老師Zo? Woodcock說。
個人項目在整個IB學習過程中非常有意義的。在IB學習中,學生是學習的核心,而個人項目是學生自己發問、解決問題的過程。個人項目展示了10年級學生的學習的成果和過程,每年都是啟明星社區的重要活動。
Not long ago, the Grade 10 students' Personal Project Expo was held in Beigao Campus, where the students presented and explained the learning process and results of their projects to the visiting teachers, students and parents.
The students' projects revolve around topics of interest to each of them, and the breadth of their interests is astonishing:The present and future of cetacean life, research of monetary, the development of Crossfit fitness in China, making a pop-up book on the influence of music on human emotions, and the history of Jewish life in Shanghai during World War II......
"The exhibition this year has improved from last year because we have decided to focus on the visual elements of the Personal Project, to give the students the greater understanding of the process that they've been through to get them to recognize the journey that they've been on and to realize how much they have developed. "said Zo? Woodcock, Personal Project Coordinator, Head of Art and Design.
The Personal Project is very meaningful throughout the IB learning process. In IB learning, students are at the heart of learning, and Personal Project is the process by which students ask questions and solve problems on their own. The Personal Project showcases the outcomes and progress of Year 10 students' learning and is an important event for the Daystar community each year.
