Intel換主板比換手機還勤的日子，可能要結束了。Robert Hallock——Intel enthusiast渠道的VP——最近被Club386問到未來插槽會不會支持更多代CPU時，就回了三個字：「I do.」
這話的分量在于，Intel過去十幾年幾乎是一代U換一次板。LGA1851剛上市，只夠Arrow Lake和它的Refresh版本用，明年的Nova Lake又要換LGA1954。玩家罵了這么多年，Hallock這次沒打太極。「I, my team, we are ourselves, first and foremost, PC builders and enthusiasts，」他說，「That was not always the case at Intel.」
翻譯一下：以前拍板的人自己不裝機，現在這幫人真的打游戲。Hallock透露團隊會盯著反饋看，有些改動半年就能落地，有些要三年，但「we are listening」。
爆料顯示LGA1954可能一口氣撐過Nova Lake、Razer Lake、Titan Lake、Hammer Lake四代。如果成真，Intel終于要在插槽壽命上對標AMD的AM4了——那個從2017年用到2022年的傳奇平臺。Hallock還暗示Arrow Lake 200S Plus有新消息要放，但嘴很嚴，細節一個字沒漏。
